Once upon a time, there grew a very old apple orchard. Nearing its end, the trees’ beauty lay in the knarled and twisted branches where a few apples still ripened in the treetops. Among the earthworms who called this orchard home, a legend once spoke of great things to come to whomever could reach the sunny side of the apple. Stanley Wiggle was a carefree, charming and daring young worm who knew the legend well. All summer he had watched the apples growing and knew the time was near. Stanley Wiggle wanted to change things once and for all.
